The total space of the Vnukovo-3 apron is approximately 560,000 m² — with roughly 150 parking places for aircraft of various types and modifications.
The hangar complex consists of 24 hangars with a total space of about 100 500 m² and is designed for the comfortable accommodation and maintenance of more than 100 aircraft of various types at the same time, including Boeing 747. The advantages of using hangars in our climate zone are obvious: it helps to save expensive aviation equipment from environmental impacts and allows maintenance to be performed in more comfortable conditions. All hangars are equipped with modern heating, ventilation, and fire extinguishing systems, and are under 24-hour security surveillance and protection.
Storage of aircraft at parking places is carried out in accordance with international requirements.
